These before-and-after photos
show a Caterpillar D6R tractor that was
rescued from a weedy field and rebuilt to
original equipment specifications. Initially,
the customer asked the dealer for a scrap
price. The dealer technician evaluated the
machine and found that while it looked rough
on the outside, the engine and final drives
were operational. He determined it would be
an excellent candidate for a rebuild, through
the Cat Certified Rebuild program.
